Intangible
An intangible truth that lies within your soulSo to lie to yourself is a sense of no self control
Wishful thinking and all that's impossible such as a fairytale
That lifts you up just to push you back down
Fear is the tear that slips its grip
And from ur cheek sails to the ground
Step it up and slow it down
You're on no ones time but your own
Running with your heart under your shoe
Restless and unable to speak
Fallen from all you're incapable of handling
Out cold and invisible in the eyes of a passerby
Feeling around blindly for something familiar
Desperately trying to find a way to cope
Scarred and afraid to open your eyes
Kuz lately there hasn't been much hope
You'll always be afraid of something
But embrace the satisfaction
Of opening your heart before your eyes
And take the time to recognize
