It's Not Goodbye
The days grew shorterAnd every minute with you felt unreal
Having to let go of you was torture
But we both openly took this deal
My head concaved into your soul
My hands indulged into your back
Feeling everything but whole
Like I'm about to have a heart attack
My tears rivered down the seam of your shirt
And the remains rested in your fingerprints
The time apart will surely hurt
But I'm right here for you, my Prince
Every time I held you I knew
That it's not goodbye
And without you
It'll feel like a lifetime
Just know that I love you
And I'll be waiting
Keeping busy with other things
To not get distracted by anticipating
Of course we have our ups and downs
But to me you are the greatest thing that's ever happened
And we'll make the world hear our happiness - surround sound
And our lives together is the greatest thing I could have ever imagined
Always remember
That it's not goodbye
This will get better
And until then, I believe we'll survive
