Fireworks
Blinded by the flare of your tongue as you call out my nameThe spark in your eye that ensures me nothing will change
All the energy that my soul embraced from your presence
From the ground our love launched adored by an audience
I hear nothing but the explosion at the top of the world
Witnessing every color blanket the atmosphere
I sat still among the hectic night sky as the winds whirled
Being here with you makes it impossible for anything to interfere
With every crackle of dissinegration aside the stars
Traveling heat from destruction of multi-colored light bugs
Exposing a new world of creation without scars
Is being treasured as everyone earthbound snugs
Now that the entertainment is over for everyone
We walk away with the composition of our own show
The chances of having someone else like you is slim to none
The fireworks in me for you is more than you will ever know
