Summoning Spring
The week begins in a matter of minutes
And I have a giant lump in my chest
I spend the weekend kissing pretty girls
And this is consequence at its best
I’m on the verge of something new
And I’m hesitant as hell
I fear for my life that I’ll fuck up
But hey, I might as well
‘Cause I’m so done with dormancy
And desire’s just under skin
It’s quite a task, too much to ask
To let this enormous feeling in
I tingle with excitement
My worrywort is gone
My lips saltier than sea
Reckon spring is coming on
