    Anyone, atom bomb

    Why can’t we just be free?

    Everyone, summer sun

    Descend into the sea

     

    Powder soul, rabbit hole

    Phantasms in the night

    Remote control, rock and roll

    Insomniac city lights

     

    Basic anatomy, apathic cavity

    Saturate the market with lies

    Endless inanity, nonsensical sanity

    Omnipresence of evil eyes

     

    Life unseen, failed vaccine

    So far away from home

    Compliments obscene, beauty queen

    The crowds are all alone

     

    Don’t give a fuck, pure poppycock

    Lose yourself at sea

    Fight the clock, killer’s block

    Automated infancy

     

    Stop-Motion discomposure, alarming lack of closure

    Come and steal my methadone

    Cannibal kosher, end ever closer

    Pity me from your wobbling throne

     

    Darkness falls, portrait halls

    Begin began begun

    Defining walls, distant recalls

    The nuclear winter sun

     

    Campfire, unleashed desire

    Nothing matters to time

    Hearts for hire, random choir

    Only this moment is mine

    I love the flow and rhyme scheme of this... there's a rawness here that most poets only wish they could capture. Very nice job!
