Without Trees
Where would we be without trees,
What would the world be like,
With not a tree in sight,
Where would the birds perch at night,
Nothing swaying in the wind,
Be it palm or majestic redwood,
What of the rain forest, Its life in the canopy,
Making air for us to breath,
Where could we hide, Let alone seek,
A shelter from the rain, Not under a maple or a oak,
No holiday to decorate, No place to put the star,
No apples,Oranges or Figs, they just don't exist,
What of fire without a twig, No campfire, No songs,
No beacons, No light, No fireplace nights,
No wagons, Planes or boats, Rock just don't float,
A barren world without Gods green mantle,
To shade us from the sun, Where would we run,
The colors and characters of Earth not covered,
In blues and greens, For without trees,
!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's Just Plain Dirt !!!!!!!!!
