The SIMPLEST TOUCH 2
The slightest touch, A loving caress,The simplest touch from the heart,
Never looking back to the tears we shed,
It says so much.
Quietly in the shadows of the mind,
In the heart, In a touch,
Not wanting to say bye, Not knowing if your coming back once the door closes,
Hiding the tears you can not face or be seen with,
The touch as they pass says it all,
The simplest touch can linger or brush away,
In a blink of an eye, In a heart beat,
It is gone yet the pain never fades,
When all is said, When all is done,
You still find yourself standing alone,
A memory in your mind, A tear in your eye,
Beat of your heart surrounded by your silence,
Thoughts of love,
The regret that more could have been said,
When words have no meaning, No use,
When only the simplest touch said so much.
