MEMORIES of a TRANSPARENT MIND
Looking at, Staring into my thoughts, Visible, My life is show and tell,
Beyond the memories trapped with so many others, Sometimes clear,
Like water that rushes up to the shoreline, Only to be pulled back,
To deeper water, Washing over every rock as if they were memories,
Trapped within the fathoms, Translucent in memory, Slowly faded,
Like every other one, Numbered as the stars above, Covered in darkness,
Quiet and alone, Sleeping until called upon once more to reminisce, Remember,
Crystal clear, Wafer thin like a pain in the glass, Reflecting what we wish,
My memories have all been listed, My thoughts can not be shared,
I stare ahead at the wall, My mind is just as blank, My memories hidden,
All lined up with no place to go, Like quick silver, Gone with but a touch,
Reflecting what once was, When I knew how to feel, Buried with out love,
Only to be lost again in the recesses of your mind, Invisible, Like a dream.....
