To Die
You don't have to stop breathing to die,
Life continues even in your death,
You look around at others just as dead as you,
Some don't realize it yet, But they died long ago,
You see it in their eyes, The way they speak,
They gave up, They gave in, They don't care,
There is no Obit. written to tell us why,
It's just that life sort of passed them by,
How many dates can you put on a headstone?
In what degrees has death taken it's toll?
How many times can one die or live?
Only to die, Day after day and still be alive,
You breath....................................................
