SEVEN DEADLY LAYERS OF LOVE
It's what you find beneath the surface,
It's what hides behind the heart,
What the eyes really see, Hidden feelings,
Waiting to rise up to the light,
Hidden lies, Hidden truths,
What you really think but can't say,
Truth can be deadly, But the lies, Lies can kill!
These are the layers that divide, Or join,
Love from hate, What we really feel,
When we look into each other and sigh,
What we lose in judgement, That which we choose to ignore,
Leave's us with a nagging feeling,
That we just made the biggest mistake,
Only to overlook the feeling and proceed,
All in the name of love?
The first thought we should have heeded,
It's always the right one, The true one,
It could of and would have prevented so much pain,
It will awaken the true nature of the beast within us,
Be it for love or hate, We ask for mercy for those we love....
