A LOST PARADISE ( A Fairies Tear )
Between the flowers, Surrounded by trees,Perched upon a rock overlooking the meadow,
Her wings sparkling in the sunshine,
Long silken hair moves with the breeze,
Skin as soft and white as a full moon,
Eyes bluer than the sky above,
A twinkle that could make stars jealous,
She watches birds, butterflies and dragon flies,
Perform their Ariel ballet in colors so radiant,
Once this was her land, Safe to travel wherever she please,
Now only for a short visit is all she is allowed,
There is danger beyond the meadow,
In the distance are houses, And beyond,
Well it makes her shudder just to think about it,
Packs of boys wander in the meadow,
They bring their dogs, They destroy the beauty,
They bring danger to all life in the meadow,
They know no other way, Its a hard world now,
It's their world now, All she can do is watch,
She wipes the tears away, It's time for her to return home,
She stands on her rock, One last look,
One last look at the sign behind her,
She flies upward and in a blink of the eye, She is gone.
The sign Say's it all, COMING SOON
