TASTE OF HEAVEN
I had a taste of heaven in your arms,
It took away the emptiness in my heart,
I knew what it is like to feel again,
Even if it was but a fleeting moment,
For the best things in life never seem to last,
I hold it dear, I hold it true,
A memory to replay over when I am blue,
A vision I will never tire of,
A feeling I will never forget,
And a hope to hold onto that will see me through,
To a life and my memory of you,
Something I will hold close like a treasure,
Hidden from view as I would hope you would too....
