    STRUCK by LIGHTNING

    Have you ever been struck by lightning,

    In the middle of the day,

    Without a cloud in the sky,

     

    Did you swallow your heart,

    Did it get stuck in your throat,

    Do you look in her eyes,

    Every time she walks by,

     

    Have you ever walked into a wall,

    Tripped or fallen when you snapped your neck,

    Too watch a beauty walk by,

    Or better yet, Driven off the road,

     

    Do you break out in a sweat, Do your palms get wet,

    Does the cat got your tongue, Do you stare too low,

    When she stands in front of you to say Hi,

    Have you ever been struck by lightning........

    INTERESTING. I like the way you make good use of the metaphor and the meter continues throughout the poem. And yes, I have been struck by lightning a few times in my life.
