    GEMS
    Gems that light the eyes,
    Enrich the beholder,
    Entrance both the rich and poor,
    The prism of colors, Diamond bright,
    Hypnotize women to delight,
    Emeralds,Rubies, Stars of the night,
    Set the body ablaze, What a sight,
    Opals and pearls make you swirl,
    Chains of gold and silver,
    Precious in all their might,
    Upon this setting I do stand,
    Radiante beauty is all I have.......

    I like how the gem used to metaphorized the eyes. The poem tells of seeing and being seen: /Enrich the beholder/ entrance the rich and poor/, and what the eyes can do that other parts of the body cannot, /Hypnotize women to delight/ I don't know how Opals and pearls make you swirl on a physical level, but it sounds nice - that will be being good to the poet not to the poem though. This is a gem!
