The Lost Boys
The Lost Boys
As their leader flies off
into his own fantasies,
they refuse to ever grow up
playing at their games
of endless war
where none of them
ever feel any pain
in their never, neverland
on their own little island
where they never take
any responsibility
for the damage they do
leaving others
to clean up
the mess they make
for their words
are worthless
as they listen to no one
never accountable to anyone
they care not
who they leave in their wake
of their warring
never answering to anyone
in their never, neverland
on their own little island
they run around
never caring who they hurt
like a wild bunch
of bad, bad boys
refusing to ever grow up.
