Frustrating Fast
Frustrating Fast
Patrick easily finds
himself smashing
his fist against
a sheet-rocked wall
blasting through
like a torpedo
hitting its target
dead on.
He feels better
because he never
seems capable
of carrying out
the simplest plans,
so on most days
he finds himself
puzzled and confused
unable to understand
when life comes
at him so quickly
from all directions,
he gets angry,
he can’t think
straight no matter
how hard he works
he gets thwarted,
always obstacles
getting in the way,
blocking him
from arriving at
a sense of purpose,
so his being will
mean much more
than the nothing
he feels now.
