Salmon
It was raining
As I drove the Farm to Market road
To work.
We moved in unison,
All of us as Salmon,
One after another
On our way to spawn.
In the East,
An eyelid opened in the clouds,
and the morning Sun
Winked at me.
I don't think anyone else noticed.
They were too intent
On the upcoming spawn.
As I drove the Farm to Market road
To work.
We moved in unison,
All of us as Salmon,
One after another
On our way to spawn.
In the East,
An eyelid opened in the clouds,
and the morning Sun
Winked at me.
I don't think anyone else noticed.
They were too intent
On the upcoming spawn.
