Rain
A dreary day.
The sky so dark,
The clouds so full.
The air hangs as wet laundry on a rope clothesline.
I wonder,
Why is the sky so stubborn,
So unwilling to give up her tears?
All is very still.
We hold our breath as one.
Wait,
Shh!
The sky opens!
Rain!
The sky so dark,
The clouds so full.
The air hangs as wet laundry on a rope clothesline.
I wonder,
Why is the sky so stubborn,
So unwilling to give up her tears?
All is very still.
We hold our breath as one.
Wait,
Shh!
The sky opens!
Rain!
