Boo's Lullabye
The moon slid over the horizon,
Gently kissing the treetops
On her way.
The night sky is afire
In amber and scarlet
As the Sun,
Reluctant to part,
Has her last say.
The clouds,
Highlighted in silver,
Close the door
On another day.
Sweet dreams
Little Boo.
Sandman is on his way,
Sprinkling dream dust
And moon beams light your path.
Sail your ship,
A steady course,
As stars wink at you from above.
Safe and sound,
Back to port,
By morning's first light.
