PARROT – Great Expectation

A few days ago

One rich green vivid

Shade Parrot is given to me

By a group of persons

From forest livings

It is placed in a shelter

A small one made of

Bamboo strips with a small

Gate through which one

Can feed the parrot

With little fruits, nuts, any eats

And water

Parrot is very lovely with

Prominent nose red in color

This is a speaking bird

Repeat the words or phrases

Whichever voice

Pronounced by me

Its feathers are trimmed

To the extent that could not

Take a fly easily

It is having the sense of voice

And raised tune of word

Name a-y’an as it heard others

Called me, a wonder

Sometimes I used to take it

Out

From the shelter

It stands on my forehand

With good grip

As my beloved person hold

My hand

Its voice is very cheerful as it

Calls me a-y-y-an when I go out

On my works

I am very much successful

As it has come on my way

I feel luck has come to me

Now a days this is my

Good friend

Both of us are developing stand

To see other often

Making voices then and there

To fill happiness, saying Hi

It likes mango fruit very much

It shows cheerful face

It makes nice voice

It repeats phrases and words heard

It makes love

It spreads wings so big grown

And can fly out easy now

It is sitting on my hand today

Saying a-y-y-n and started a

Take off, flied away leaving fast

As it needs freedom of living

My friend is gone

My lovely love has departed me

It is a day one two passed

Leaving me in melancholy so deep

It makes me – sit

With no sleep

No food, with great expectation

Of its coming back to me

Soon

And the shelter is kept open
