Fesival at Native Temple - Parivettai (5)
Parivettai 5
Badayal means offering feast to the God-Goddess
In the right manner as they will come and eat
In satisfaction, a big banana leaf is spread on which
The rice Pongal and other eatable are placed
The banana leaf green in color will be kept in such
A way that at left Side first tip and at the right hand side
End of the leaf that is the offerings for the presence of Divines
To come and honor the same
Now the Guru has completed pooja inside the temple
Getting ready for the Parivettai along with his parivars
In a very gay look, he appears in a new formation as if
The power of the spiritual divines is in him
Persons are holding torches – thread balls dipped in oil
And set on the tip of the iron holds and lighted that gives
Light and warm burning good at the time to move around
The temple
Umbrella in good looking colored clothes are spread,
Fireworks are played in sparks and sound on the ground
As well in the sky too in a grand way, a few of the guru’s
Divine helpers started dances in a peculiar way with sound
It is so that the power of the god – goddess has come
To activate on them spiritually, guru is holding
A fine shaped sharp knife and he is wearing wooden
Foot wears appearing as if he is riding on Horse
One can see that a black young a little cloth at his hip
Body no dress is moving in a manner jumps here and there
Monkey style catching the attention others makes me
To think as human is hails from monkey
Guru is coming around the temple clockwise direction
In the inner way along with his parivars and other devotees
Are following them in due respect and honor
As the Parivettai is in move
The crowd is very thick as the crowd may damage the go
Around persons and everyone is taking care on safely level
The voice of the Guru is very much different and strong
Unusual his eyes are glowing like sun
He is now standing at the North West corner mandabam
Near the Temple Tree (thalavirusham) Palm like big
One more than twenty-five years elder which is having leaves
Hanging all sides and this will have blooming only once after
Forty years and give seeds which will be spread and the tree
Will be demised to earth, the tree has taken birth by nature
For the temple and it will have next generation prior to its
Passing away and this is a very rare one to see
We call the tree by the name Kunthalpanai as it will not flower
In normal as it will give only once in its life and it will be rooted out
To decay, a few years of its growth as a symbolic representation
Of our temple – house of temple tree for worship
Guru is now spread his voice and telling something as if the goddess
Is giving away the messages to the devotees, this is of short spells
Only and this is always for the betterments and may come in true
Now guru is completing his inner way hunting and coming out
