Love On The Haystack
We had riden and playedwith our horses all day
Came home and brushed
then put them away
The sun had gone down
the moon on the rise
I looked for you
and to my surprise
A staircase you built
before my eyes
We climbed to the top
with grins on our faces
A blanket you spread
to all the right places
We gazed at the stars
and wished upon the moon
Our love on the haystack
was all we knew
We made crazy sweet love
until way after Two
This night was made
for me and you
A night I never
wanted to end
God only watching
He smiled from above
He gave us His Blessing
to enjoy our love
Nine Months later
we were blessed once more
With the birth of our son
who could ask for anything
more
