In My Dreams
I see smiling children of every color and race,
children of all sizes ages and shapes.
They come together from around the globe,
each one is happy to share love and hope.
They're all clean and fresh with bright shiny hair,
their feet are protected by the shoes they wear.
All have been vaccinated against childhood diseases,
Except the common cold that causes mostly sneezes.
They love eating fresh fruits and vegetables all year long,
meat is always available to help their bodies grow strong.
The children laugh and sing their songs,
they're learning to read about the worlds wrongs.
In the hopes that one day they can help make them go away.
They enjoy playing together day after day,
each one is happy when they go their own way.
There is no hatred, sorrow or despair,
only hearts filled with love willing to share.
LOVE REALLY CAN CHANGE THE WORLD.
