    Whispers

     While I sleep, her soft voice touches my heart
    the comfort she brings I have known from the start.
    She gently whispers her kind message in my ear,
    God will protect and keep you safe my dear.
    God loves all of his children, they stay close
    to his heart, He will never leave you
    there must be no doubt.
    You are a member of God's precious family
    to him you belong, chosen to live together
    in peace and harmony all your life long.
    What matters most is your faith, love and hope.
    No, you are not dreaming, for I am really here.
    I am your guardian angel, and I stay very near.
    You may sense my presence
    even hear the wind beneath my wings,
    or feel the warmth of my breath
    as I share with you these things.
    I am one of God's messengers.
    from heaven I descend
    to bring you his love until the end.

    amazing how some poems sit there for so long without a read and a comment. I thought you had posted something all new. Hah. Then I thought you may have just trolled up interest by commenting on your own poem, unprompted. Neither was correct. Seems like the newbies here don't get the principle of reciprocity very clearly. Made a dozen new "friends," commented on their stuff and . . . . . nothing. I've still got my guardian angel, though.

    I hear ya Harv., I have sort of given up on this site, no one here much notices my posts... No problem though, I write because I love to write, it serves a purpose in my life and gives a feeling of well being... My gueardian angel sticks pretty close too... I appreciate taht you read my poem and left me a comment... Enjoy your day, Mary
