days
faces change twice, daily.existing within this forgiveness,
we count the minutes and
the passing winters-
years of love and worms
destroy the skin and
ravage the structure within.
nights, days and in the middle-
white clouds clean their teeth
against the passing airplanes.
face changes, daily.
nights the rain comments on
contemporary worries-
wordless hurt evokes nostalgia
and we slide on from one
relationship into another
never knowing why.
days change faces.
