SONGS OF A RENEGADE
Like a snowstorm in summer time
Examining discrepancies indiscreetly
Yelling out loud in the middle of movies
Moving on without known pride nor glory
All for the sake of reading a different story
Portraying the villain in a chorus of unanimity
Born to a state of interrupted uniformity
Remaining silent in a choir of voices similarly singing
As I renege on the sights I see and sounds I hear
Fearful of complacency, sends me racing from thee
Never to return to the cauldron of like minded humanity
Happy and naked in haste of undressing ubiquity
My individuality is complete in anonymity
Like the wind, I’m unimpeded from roaming
Able to climb up and down mountains
As I blow over oceans, leaving waves in wake
Moving clouds in sight to cover both sun and moon
Singing my whistling song of difference in mood
Perpetually counter clockwise movements and actions
Obscuring views to picturesque untruths in shroud
I remain lonely and uncovered, but in self I am found
In the depths of thinking outside the box
Melodic rhythms yet to be sung or hummed
Played out serendipitously down the line
A penalty of a gift of which comes first
To be undiscovered, unknown and misunderstood
Proven to be right at a date yet determined
Keeps me sojourning through time and space
Enjoying the Journey and Teaching to soon be reaching
Masses in matter of fact(ly) speaking and singing in
The Songs of the Renegade!!!
