A HEAVY ROTATION
In heavy rotation, my world is growing
Bringing new daylight, delivering insights
Always following the darkness in ignorance
As if practicing for come what might be maybe
Still not looking or seeing any light or disparity
Clarity comes both on top of peaks, as well as
Under the valley of shadows of death’s cold stare
New days return, never the same but still practicing
For soon night will return, testing my mettle
From the previous day and night’s of battle
Or simply failing to decipher findings in surroundings
Due to salvation finding “I” while not looking directly
Me, begins to understand the cycles at hand previously
Seasons and reasons for repetitions still outstanding
Standing under answers of day and night establishing
Awaiting turns in prayers, hopes and of concerns baring
In do and thru time, inching forward in minds awakening
Oftentimes by sore backsides from both day and night flipping
Turning heads from night to day, day to night again over
Tears falling and drying up from sobering lunar phases
Is hypothesis enough for turning frowns to smiles
Everything is up and then down, as I evolve thru instances!
