MY STAR
Glancing out towards the sky
My eyes do spy on a star
Far off in the horizon
I’m immediately infatuated
As the star twinkles and shines
Especially for me
Upon my first gaze I have decided
That this new love I must pursue
As the beckoning is intense
Waves of Love increasingly dense
Call to me and say
That the attraction is mutual
But oh so far, far away
So I must build a spaceship is my intent
To enable me to travel to meet this far away star
Which has become the object of my desire
As thoughts seem to travel closer
Her brightness reminds me of my mission
I draw even closer and her highlights begin to glisten
As I’m now in orbit, but I began to ponder
Will this magnetic pull be too much,
Causing me to loss my gravity and my way home
But oh her Beauty is Renown among the stars I have seen
My Vision is to encircle her
Until we are Binary
Two Hearts of Light blasting equal
Dosages of Luminosity
For other stars to see, from nebulas
Back on down to earth
With light to nourish the trees of life
Oh the Beauty is so Bright that it has all but blinded me
And I fear this far away star
That represents my love From afar, appears to me
To be Love’s Brightest Star
I made not be able to travel today,
As I’m still figuring the mathematical equations
So that I can endure the time inbetween and the coldness of space without love
Until we are face to face
So I will have to send this declaration of intent
To be my emissary, bringing these words of
Admiration traveling on this unmanned
Satellite of Words
Dear Star Love, Your Hi-Lights has me
So enamored, please send a flare my way
That is a sign directing me straight into the path
Of your light, from there I would be content
To be eclipsed by your Starlight
Because I would have a bird’s eye view
Of my favorite star......you!
