Safe
A tap
to the drop
as rain collects,
then hesitates,
in its fall.
No call
of distress
in the swan dive
to address
from the leaf.
My thoughts
eye
the liquid grass
for relief.
I sense
the North Star
block
all grief.
She is my rock,
my safe stellar reef.
I swim
to her bosom
and she watches
my eyes
close
as we dream
from within the drop,
we are the sound of the tap,
as the drop falls in it's leap.
