Butterfly Oh, Butterfly
Butterfly oh, butterfly
Flying so high
Brilliant colors flash as you pass me by
Butterfly oh, butterfly
How I wish I could be
As beautiful as you for all to see
Butterfly oh, butterfly
I can't help but admire your delicate grace
Swirling and circling with out a single care
Butterfly oh, butterfly
I'll catch you in my net
Then you will have to be like me
Trapped; no longer free
Butterfly oh, butterfly
Why do you insist on fluttering
Can't you see there is no where to fly?
No more open air nor sky
Butterfly oh, butterfly
How you anger me
There is nothing you can do to turn your fate
Butterfly oh, butterfly
Your lovely wings are gone
You insisted on flying now they are torn
Butterfly oh, butterfly
Now you are like me
Your splendid wings are gone
You are just an ugly insect
