Why Not Spend A Fantasy On Me

Dance on moonlight beams

Float amongst cloudy dreams

Experience emotions on motions of waves

Delve into sensuality in dark driven caves

Feel warmth on pillows of snow

Be caressed on a star reflecting a glow

Make love swimming the oceans floor

Lie naked at heavens door

Pounce and ponder in leaves of silk

Bathe with gold that flows as rivers milk

Dry on flowers of lace

Fantasize as feathers and fur tickle your face

See whispering blue winds drop silver from the sky

Drink from angels wings and fly on an ethereal high

Soar into the greatest realms unseen

Dive inside waterfalls of red, yellow, and green

Taste the colors and spew out beauty

Paint a tender picture of a calm crystal sea

Now relax, behold and grasp all of life’s treasure

You have felt feelings that travel beyond pleasure

Be still, lie quiet before you wake

There is one wish I would like to make

That you would spend a fantasy on me

And that together we might make the impossible a reality

soulwriter 05/04/2010: What a surprise to have this poem take life again... it has been a couple of decades since this was first penned....
