To Whisper A Name
To Whisper A Name: Drew Lancaster
I believe I would be ready
Should fate take me away
This disease and illness lingers
Only one more task remains
Hoping my strength can hold
The burden heart and mind endure
Seeking a friend whose name
I shall whisper till death secures
The task has proven lengthy
Many too false too know
I see only empty eyes
A lost soul in a lovers disquise
So waiting is my demise
I fear the product one fashions
Claim a name for ill gotten gain
Lonely paid full a debt in isolation
Will be fine by me
My imaginary friend
As death takes us all
What gains a whispered name in the end
