Imagine Me Lady
Imagine Me Lady: Drew Lancaster
I would ask of you, though I suspect your answer
Punish myself for yesterday, but your eyes are kind
Maybe you should not believe me such a way
Linger these thoughts of the sky, as clouds change
Looking once there, turn only now to look away
All along it was a mighty wind
Gave me your place and time, Shapes of where and when
Knowing not if coming, nor if to come again
I hoped to collide in those eyes pretty lady
Seeing the shape of my heart, taking hold of its colors
Paint me a picture that leads to a friend
Asking my love, my lady
Though I know the answer, "Where have you been"
Tell me all about it, close your eyes to look in mine
Take me there my lady, take me there again
