Snners&Saints
Sinners & Saints: Drew Lancaster
Sinners and saints
Like lyrics to a song
Are colors to paint
Point your finger
Judge precisly
Do look closely
You may miss a smurk
A certain quirk
Decieving as it may be
They are somewhat the same
The chemicals flowing to the stem of the brain
For me I followed the rules
Tried to perform right
Leaving me nowhere
Constant Struggle
The fight of my life
A saint smiles faithfully
Judging on the spot
The drop of a hat
The last second shot
Praise will reign
For he is given a title
But the heart sometimes beats with unfaithfull restraint
Like a car stuck in idle
Standing still he knows no more
He dare not attract the eyes of the whore
The girl a sinner can see straight through
Like the serpant to eve
As he qaulks and laughs at you
Her walk may not be upright
Not the guidline or standard
Her heart crys for him as his thoughts get scrambled
Whose in more contol
Sinner or saint
As for me I'm both
I have scars on the out
Brought from within
They are my stories of shame, failures and faulty glories
As for my sainthood
I tell diferent stories
I may not wear the title of a man drenched in glory
As saint and sinner
My life will tell a much more interesting story
My God He loves me
He sees my heart
He called me sinnersaint
Your life, Our pain
I like the tale you tell sinnersaint
I like your story
He reminded me of His son
He told me no blood , no guts, no glory
Be good sinnersaint
Hold your head high
Dry your eyes
In due time sinnersaint I will tell your story
For those who fall short
I will help them see
Believe it or not sinnersaint
You remind Me of Me
