    gaa.... sadtime, i suppose.... oh well. i got a little bored and the "Candyman" song came into my head... can you tell?

    The Candyman Cant...

    Who can take the sunrise,
    and color it all blue?
    Who can paint the rainbow
    all sad, depressing hues?

    Who can hold out a diamond,
    and watch it turn to coal?
    Who can can look so young,
    but, somehow, feel so old?

    Who can erase a smiley-face,
    and turn it into a frown?
    Who can go through life
    always looking down?

    Who can smile sometimes,
    just to make others happy?
    Who can do all this...

    All this, just like me?

    I think most people can relate to this at some point, putting on that dishonest "happy face" really can eat away at you. This resonated a lot with me.

    Interesting. I really loved the line "Who can paint the rainbow all sad, depressing hues?" And your rhyming scheme is something to behold as well. Great write, my friend.

    Awwww! You're not gonna have any trouble with finding one or more princes, my lady. Just be sure when you feel the heat start to start low and go slow! Nice poem. Can't believe you're only 16.................d
