It Isnt, I Swear...
Just ignore them,
they arent there;
her hand isnt playing
with his thick brown hair...
Dont look at him...
Dont look at her...
Dont look at their faces
when they laugh together...
He isnt happy
and she isnt carefree;
Im not being stabbed in the back,
my heart is warm and beats.
She isnt thin and
his perfect type;
On his neck there isnt
the mark of a bite...
Oh no, I swear,
these arent tears;
the thought of him
isnt too much to bear...
He isnt holding her
the way he used to hold me;
she isnt looking up at him
and then smiling at me...
She isnt my best friend,
he wasnt my lover;
"Oh no, I dont mind,
you can do whatever."
Im not unloved
and in denial...
My tears arent rivers
that run for miles...
Im perfectly fine,
why do you ask?
Its not like I wear
my smile as a mask...
