    I wont say
    It was too hard,
    You were too far...
    This is all on me.
    Two steps forward
    And three steps backs,
    All I've ever known

    And I'm sorry...

    I wanted to be
    That light,
    That sign,
    The faithful one
    You left behind...
    But I'm faithless,
    And lonely,
    And hopeful...
    And you'll survive without me...

    Its not
    That I dont love you,
    That I dont care...
    Im still
    Standing here,
    Hoping you'll come back...

    Things may not be
    As they once were, no...
    But knowing us,
    This isnt a surprise.
    A one in a billion opportunity arose...

    A simple goodbye,
    Causing its demise...

    And maybe one day,
    I can be that light,
    That sign...
    But that day is not Today,
    We both have no time,
    Too much on our minds,
    Too many ties,
    Too much that Binds

    Us.
