Casualties
Lay down next to me;Lay right here,
and whisper lies
into my ear...
About how you love me,
that Im beautiful to you;
shirt buttons undone
by the time you are through...
You trace my sides
with your fingertips
as you silence my objections
with a long, lazy kiss...
You move above me,
kissing down my neck;
I watch you work
til not one piece of cloth is left...
Then you stand
and undress yourself.
turn and climb back into bed,
aware of nothing else...
But this new conquest,
this warm foriegn land,
not caring if it's people
die at your hands...
So you take, take, take
and take again
til every jewel is yours
and drop of life from me is drained...
So your done, gone
and Im dressed...
I am dead inside,
but you'll never know this...
