Dreaming of Demons (part 2)
I never thought it was possible...
He's so evil...
But I fell for him...
You can see the flames of hell
in his eyes...
and yet, they burned so good
when they look my way...
Justification, I suppose,
for taking the dive...
Its amazing just how simple
falling can be...
They never tell you
that all you have to do
is find
a place
any
place
and just... let go...
And when you land?
Mortality...
It hurts,
broken bones,
bruises...
I mean, we can imagine...
but yeah...
Pain was new...
He was new...
Right there,
holding his hand out...
Whispering...
"Come, come with me...
Lies...
come find the truth...
I'll show you..."
Haha his father taught him well.
Snake bred for survival...
For war.
He let me fall...
and
fall
and...
helped.
At the very last second...
He made sure I didnt die...
He dragged me away
from where I'd landed,
brought me
to his cover's house...
His house...
I woke in my bed,
looking at my ceiling,
wondering
just what happened
the night before...
"Damn you..."
There was a low chucke
from the
far corner
of my room...
"You're not the first person to say that."
I sat up quickly,
pulling up my covers,
watching him
as he sat down,
almost crushing my legs...
"How'd you sleep?... Dream well?"
And his eyes
looked into mine...
and burned...
To be continued...
