Too many days let pass,
Before embraced as one,
Two poets at loss for words,
Their silence speaking for them.
Memories not soon forgotten,
The tale spun up between the two,
A dancing flame their only witness,
Snuffed out before an early rise.
A dream it seems in all reality,
That night so long ago,
One that plays in constant motion,
In memory until they meet again.
Before embraced as one,
Two poets at loss for words,
Their silence speaking for them.
Memories not soon forgotten,
The tale spun up between the two,
A dancing flame their only witness,
Snuffed out before an early rise.
A dream it seems in all reality,
That night so long ago,
One that plays in constant motion,
In memory until they meet again.
