    Tell the truth,
    Say no lies,
    This is the moment to be honest.
    You crossed your fingers,
    Said,
    "I love you.",
    Weaved a story,
    And went behind my back.
    You let me look blindly,
    Taking it all for granted,
    Jumping at your say with no net to save me.
    Now that I am falling,
    For the last time,
    I answer back,
    Fingers crossed,
    "I never loved you."

    wow. am i picking the good ones tonight or are all of yours just awesome? i like the aspect you put on the crossed fingers thing, the last line just ties it alllll together. beautiful, yet another 10. keep writing!:)

    Tarnished love. All I can say is it is tarnished love. Which means lies. Nothing but a bunch of lies. Fingers uncrossed.

    Sometimes that is the best some people receive in terms of love, as they walk blind and caring while showing all they have to offer, hoping the other person is doing the same for them.
