Just like you,
I sit and ponder,
Head in hands,
Full of thoughts,
And dreams.
Just like you,
I question why,
In such times,
Things have worked out,
The way they have.
Just like you,
I come up with answers,
And ignore others,
Switch them,
And change them,
To fit the mood,
Or suit the time.
Just like you,
I will realize,
Once and for all,
The true answers,
To all of my questions,
And the ones,
That I have yet to ask.
But the answer I know,
To be true,
Through and through,
Is simple.
I am nothing like you.
I sit and ponder,
Head in hands,
Full of thoughts,
And dreams.
Just like you,
I question why,
In such times,
Things have worked out,
The way they have.
Just like you,
I come up with answers,
And ignore others,
Switch them,
And change them,
To fit the mood,
Or suit the time.
Just like you,
I will realize,
Once and for all,
The true answers,
To all of my questions,
And the ones,
That I have yet to ask.
But the answer I know,
To be true,
Through and through,
Is simple.
I am nothing like you.
