It's As Easy As Breathing
I looked down to see the lapping wavesCrashing and maneuvering about in the sudden down pour
of themselves.
I looked at her, confused
To find her with the seagulls above head
Arms spread wide like wings.
The wind fluttered through her like a spell
A spell of beauty.
I looked down at my bare feet that cradled small pebbles
between each toe.
I found comfort in the beds of moss around me.
The small blades that stuck straight up
and showed themselves proudly into the sun.
The sun-
How it shined down on the water,
creating different colors in the ripples and small pools.
She laughed suddenly, drawing my attention towards her eager movements.
"How do you do it?"
I backed off from the edge.
"It's as easy as breathing,"
she proclaimed,
as her body fell into the air,
in a fall as gracefull as a raindrop.
I looked down to see
that she was one with the lapping waves.
