Acid
I let the embers slip down my throat. The ends of my fingers met his.
We laced each other's drinks with
curiosity.
The smoke filtered through my pumping heart.
Obstructing the flow of normal thoughts.
I watched a needle stick a bit, then slide into a
crevice of his arm.
His eyes rolled back, stimulated.
As metal piecings beneath his lip glimmered
in the foggy light.
Our lips touched...
Bed sheets held us under
a spell we could no longer control.
I spelt "love" on his neck with my tongue
as he thrusted.
My nails dug deep into his back.
I felt popping under his skin
as his moving spine released the remaining acid.
We finished and listened to the violence of our beating hearts
finally decrease to a normal rate.
There, we lay together,
sticky with sweat,
feeling our lungs die.
