    Filled with Wolves

Walking through woods bright and clear
Thick white snow blanketing the ground
All alone, alone and in good cheer
A forest of trees and memories all around
    I was filled with wolves
I harkened to Peter and the Wolf
I stepped to the music of Peter wolf
I contemplated the words of Tom Wolf
And I reviewed scenes from who’s afraid of Virginia Wolf
Another step brought me to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
From there to Bach to Bach to Beethoven
Another step to Borodin and naturally full circle
For Borodin brought me to Prokofiev
    Back to snow
    Back to woods
Back to Peter and the Wolf
All alone and in good cheer
And I was filled with wolves

so...not all wolves are bad, and being preoccupied with wolves while walking through the forest can be an enjoyable experience...I also notice the full-circle nature of the accumulation of knowledge...great write 10

Sometimes, we cannot escape what preempts our days thoughts... These things which ooze into our subconscious by way of some casual, and often passing media snippet... Their only prerequisite requirement is our strong curiosity or admiration of them, and a creative mind to fit them into whatever it is, we're doing at the time... Good write Frost, enjoyed how you circled it back in there...

Poetry is what is lost in translation.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
