A dreaded place
It had been a lonely place
this shore nested up to the sea
It had shone a craggy face
this arm of land facing sea
Men built a house and tower
to light the dark along their way
Men tall, dark, cold and dour
too stern and set for natures way
Light rips the night asunder
and bouy's clang a mournful cry
Light against natures thunder
and bouy's clang a mournful cry
This is now a dreaded place
