seeing disappointments
when looking for the good
because my hope for good

even when the balance
was in question-
what is fair?
paranoia breathing thick
from past dispositions
into new territory
to re-live the feelings of loss
by suffocating a positive outlet
for selfish reasons-
patience
allowing time to reveal
because it must reveal
the unmasked
and how close I am
to something unconditional
and secure
to promote growth-
taking a risk
for the benifit of us
in such a way that is fruitful
and healthy
damages aside
with a back-burner pride
a commitment to protect-
it is fair to say
awareness is essential
when it comes to the begginings
when it comes to the closures
the similarities and differences
linked together by knowing
what keeps
