pioneer
i have embarkedbecause i chose to embark
and if a sharp cut from the harsh wind
hurries my pace
or directs my path
then let it be
i controlled what i could
i learned from the road blocks
if i had to turn around
why beat myself up?
if i breathed anger into it
i can't carry it long
continuity persists
in the back of my mind
always open doors
and windows brings in light
what is to resist?
and who am i
to cut off my own circulation?
i have to forgive where i must
and be sympathetic to those who can't
so, where is the question?
attached to the answer
going down the same paths
that my feet walk
rearing its head
when a bridge is flooded
and in the words of those I meet
foolish or not
I will receive my package
wrapped indefinitely
within the lines
of a forging destiny
