that amazing light
and I searched for the lightthat amazing light
better than the one that sweeps
across the water from the lighthouse
and when I set my gaze upon you
you smiled with your heart
as one couldn't without a soul
we had a definition
for our sight
a reason to uphold
looking towards the pier
to the marina
where business was selling lead
to the captains of the ships
talking balance without logic
for the benefits of stitched pockets
you and I could see
the illusions in it's green entity
from miles off
looking into each other's eyes
finding the reality of the balance
in its true form
so we look into the water
ready to offer our hands
and stay for those
who prefer not to drown
