Shedding youth
I shed my youth and
Pass it on to my children
My time has come and gone
Know my time rides on the
Waves of the wind
How long will I have to walk
These sands of time
Maybe a day, a month, a year
Whom would want to live
Immortal in the epitome
Of existence that we call life
Not me I have a destiny to
Keep with the dark
So why rust away
When you can burn out like
A shooting star one last ride
Then time to walk through
The pages of time……
